New Delhi (India) : India’s Foreign Affairs Ministry has appointed two new ambassadors on Friday. Indian Foreign Service Officer (IFS) Mukta Dutta Tomar has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Federal Republic of Germany. She is a 1984 batch IFS officer. Earlier, Gurjit Singh was holding this post till in March 2017.
Subir Dutta has been appointed as Ambassador to the Union of Comoros. Dutta is a 2003 batch IFS officer. Presently he is Ambassador to Madagascar.
It is expected that both officers will take your charge very soon.
