New Delhi : Reserve Bank of India has said that no coins of Rs 10 rupees are invalid and all the coins are in circulation.
In a press conference held here on Saturday, the central bank has clarified the confusion among the public on various types of coins of Rs. 10. According to bank, no coins of Rs 10 rupees are invalid in the country and all the coins are in circulation.
“Maa Serawali’s photo coin, Parliament’s photo coin, Homi Bhabha’s picture coin, Mahatma Gandhi’s coin, including All others 10 rs coins are valid” RBI sais. According to the Central banks, these coins have been released on various special occasions. All the coins are different designs, and issued from time to time.
In this case, corporate affairs lawyer Shuja Zameer says,that those persons who has refusing to accept the valid currency of 10 Rs, A case of sedition can be lodged against him under section 124 (1) of the Indian Penal Code.
