Silapathar incident: CID SSP N Rajamarthandan and Subodh Biswas sent to 14-day judicial Custody
GUWAHATI :Silapathar incident prime accused Subodh Biswas was on Monday remanded sent to 14 days judicial custody by court of first class judicial magistrate court in Dhemaji. Biswas was arrested by a team of Assam Police on March 22 from North 24 Parganas in West Bengal.
Subodh, a senior leader of the Nikhil Bharat Bangali Udbastu Samannay Samity (NIBBUS) was the man behind the ransacking of the AASU office at Silapathar in Dhemaji district, besides making provocative comments.
Other hand Arrested CID Senior Superintendent of Police N Rajamarthandan was sent to 14-day judicial custody by Kamrup CJM court on Monday.
He was arrested on Thursday midnight and was produced before the court on next day, which remanded him to two-day police custody.
