GUWAHATI : India has deployed more troops and increaded patrolling frequency in Dibang, Dau-Delai and Lohit regions along the Indo-China border. More troops deployed in Arunachal Pradesh after new Chinese construction along Border.
The situation along the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh seems to have heated up again as
India has started deploying more troops along the border after reports of construction of
telecommunication towers, army camps and houses by China on the other side of Arunachal
Pradesh’s Kibithu was reported recently.

According to reports, India has deployed more troops and increaded patrolling frequency in
Dibang, Dau-Delai and Lohit regions along the Indo-China border.
To counter Chinese fortification of surveillance system, India too is strengthening its
mechanism so that Chinese activities can be affectively monitored.
Regular choppers recces are being done in the strategically sensitive regions, reports said.
Reports further said that frequncy of Long Range Patrols have been increased in which small
groups patrol the Line of Actual Control for 15-30 days.
Earlier international reports had mentioned about China of late being aggressively engaged in
infrastructure development along India-China border.
Meanwhile reports quoted unofficial army sources talking about the need to enhance India’s road
network for quick movement of troops.
The recent Chinese construction has taken place exactly opposite to Kibithu in Arunachal Pradesh.
It must be noted that at present Indian Army uses a foot bridge for carrying supplies to Kibithu as
the road mostly remains closed to rampant landsides in the area.
Reports also quoted unnamed officials who said that they are ready for any Doklam like situation and are constantly working to modenrnize the forces besides improving transportation conditions in the region which might prove to be crucial in case of an emergency.
