The Supreme Court on Friday ordered the Karnataka floor test to be held at 1600 hrs tomorrow. A bench of justices A K Sikri, S A Bobde and Ashok Bhushan directed that the Protem Speaker will conduct floor test in accordance with law.
It directed the DGP of the state to take all measures to keep things under control outside the Assembly to make floor test happen smoothly inside the House.
The Bench asked not to nominate Anglo Indian MLA till the floor test is conducted. It also directed BS Yeddyurappa government, meanwhile, not to take major policy decision.
